DOSSIER / RECORD 01
Verify a Clothoff image service before trusting the name
Establish the exact domain, operator and matching policy documents before making claims about an image-processing service.
A familiar name is not an operator record
This guide has not established a current official Clothoff operator. It therefore does not publish an official checkout, a price table or a security guarantee. Similar names, search listings and copied descriptions cannot close that gap.
Start with the exact domain you are examining. Record the entity the site identifies, the applicable documents and the contact route. A mismatch between the product name and the policy’s service scope is an unanswered question, not an invitation to guess.
Match each document to the actual service
A useful policy should explain whom it applies to and which data the service processes. Check that its links work and that its operator details correspond to the service page. A document copied from another domain provides no reliable explanation of the first domain’s practices.
Keep a review date in your notes. A reachable document can still change. Avoid reproducing unsupported statements such as complete anonymity or automatic deletion unless the service provides an applicable explanation and you can identify its limits.
Permissions come before an upload
Possessing a photograph does not establish permission for every transformation or use. Do not submit another person’s likeness for intimate synthetic manipulation. This dossier does not provide image-processing functions or instructions for that use.
For ordinary fully clothed creative work, a source still needs appropriate rights and a service must permit the intended input. A broad consent statement cannot be used to override a platform’s narrower rule.
When an answer is missing, preserve the gap
If the operator, retention terms or removal route cannot be located, write that explicitly in the record. A confident feature comparison built on an unidentified service is less useful than an honest unresolved question.
Do not pay or disclose an identifiable image merely to discover whether an unverified page is genuine. The verification task should reduce uncertainty before the file leaves your control.
A practical record
| Record to establish | Useful evidence |
|---|---|
| Service identity | Exact domain and named operator |
| Applicable documents | Policies that identify the same service and scope |
| Removal route | A reachable record-specific contact or control |
Verification is the first research task. This dossier deliberately leaves unsupported service claims unstated.
